Food Grade French Fry Box Oil Repellent Laser Drilling Technology: Precise Temperature Control Without Stuffiness Or Softness

The oil repellent laser drilling technology for food grade french fry boxes achieves efficient moisture resistance through precise temperature control, effectively solving the problem of traditional packaging being prone to stuffiness and softness. This technology uses a CO ₂ metal RF tube laser, combined with a micrometer level fine light output system, to form a regular arrangement of oil repellent micropores on the surface of the French fry box. The laser beam is focused on the surface of the packaging material, causing the material to vaporize and form holes through instantaneous high temperature, while maintaining the integrity of the inner sealing film, ensuring the crispy texture of the French fries.

Precise temperature control is the core advantage of this technology. The matching S&A CW-5200 industrial chiller adjusts the cooling water temperature of the laser metal RF tube in real time through a high-precision temperature control system of ± 0.3 ℃. When the ambient temperature fluctuates, the intelligent dual-mode temperature control function can automatically adjust the cooling parameters to avoid power attenuation caused by overheating of the laser, ensuring that the depth and diameter errors of each hole are controlled at the micrometer level. Experimental data shows that after continuously processing 1000 french fry boxes, the laser power fluctuation rate is still below 0.5%, and the aperture consistency reaches 99.7%.

The oil repellent microporous design balances breathability and oil resistance. The aperture is controlled within the range of 50-80 μ m, which can quickly remove moisture from the packaging and prevent oil leakage. Compared to traditional mechanical drilling techniques, laser drilling improves the smoothness of the hole wall by three times, effectively reducing friction damage between French fries and packaging materials. According to actual test data from a certain fast food brand, after adopting this technology, the humidity inside the French fry box decreased by 40%, and the crispness retention time was extended to more than 2 hours.

This technology has passed FDA food contact material certification and is suitable for food grade plastics such as PE and PP, as well as composite paper materials. The supporting automated production line can achieve a processing efficiency of 60 french fry boxes per minute, meeting the needs of large-scale production.
